Nagrota welfare society is being patronised and run by Sh. G.S. Bali
The society is a non-political organisation and registered with Registrar Societies (Kangra) vide Regn no 665/SDK Dtd 14.10.2005)
The society has following objectives -
Distribution of free text books and payment of fees to the poor and underprivileged students of the region to carry out their studies
sometimes upto professional colleges. Distribution of sewing machines and other such things to widows in order to make them self
reliant.Organization of free multispecialty medical camps. Distribution of free medicines to needy. Providing monetary assistance for
the treatment of needy, treatment of critical illness.Workshops for the development of children in the rural area. Providing monetary
assistance for the marriage of poor girls. Artificial limbs to the handicapped, audiovisual aids to the visual & hearing impaired poor
people. The welfare society also provides special help to the poor to meet out the funeral expenses at the hours of crisis.
